Understanding what CareBridge Copilot is, and what it is not.
Educational scope
CareBridge Copilot is an educational caregiver-support tool. It provides plain-language guidance, caregiver scripts, one focused next step, role-play practice, short educational videos, and printable caregiver tools. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, medical care, behavioral assessment, individualized treatment plans, or crisis intervention.
Professional support
CareBridge Copilot is designed to support caregivers between professional appointments. It does not replace a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, therapist, physician, school team, or other qualified professional who knows the individual. When a situation calls for professional support, CareBridge encourages caregivers to reach out to a qualified professional.
Emergencies
CareBridge Copilot is not an emergency service and should not be used in a crisis. If someone is in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number right away.
Protected health information
CareBridge Copilot is an educational tool and is not intended to collect medical records or protected health information. Caregivers are encouraged not to enter medical record numbers, identifying diagnostic details, or other protected health information into free-text fields.
Data retention
Free-text entries are retained for 30 days and then removed.
Administrative access
Administrative access is restricted to two named administrator accounts protected by multifactor authentication.
Security
CareBridge Copilot uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and CareBridge does not claim to provide it.
AI limitations
CareBridge Copilot uses AI-assisted technology to provide educational guidance. AI-generated guidance may not fit every situation and can contain errors. Caregivers should use their own judgment and consult a qualified professional for individualized advice.
Clinical documentation and billing
CareBridge Copilot does not create clinical documentation, is not a billable clinical service, and is not submitted to insurance. It is a caregiver-education subscription tool.
